Rae wears too many hats: novelist, poet, playwright, special needs mom, homeschool mom, former foster parent, actress, director, and theatre educator. In addition to drafting her third novel, she is currently a mentee in the Rogue Mentor program with her manuscript, Revenant. In 2021, she had two short stories published in A Memphis Writers Junt’s Malfunction Junction anthology, as well as a poem published in 4 Horsemen Publications’ anthology, Teen Angst Mix Tape Vol. 1. She received Honorable Mention in the Malice in Memphis Hit Me With Your Best Shot Contest in 2018. Rae loves video games (sucker for Final Fantasy), blues music, and Mediterranean food. Some of her favorite authors/poets include Neil Gaiman, Carl Dennis, Taylor Mali, Jeff VanderMeer, Diana Gabaldon, Brandon Sanderson, Leigh Bardugo, and Maggie Stiefvater. She writes every spare moment she can steal, which is mostly at night when the kids are asleep. She is always sleep deprived. You can catch her on Twitter and Instagram @raehardingbooks.
